Dear NDTA Members:
The end of another year seems to be an appropriate time for reflection and renewed personal and professional strength and commitment. The spirit of service work never fails to amaze. I want to take a moment to express thanks and gratitude to a team of NDTA volunteers and board members who continue to work behind the scenes to make certain the events are successful. .“The ANNUAL Golf Tournament” which is our biggest fund raising event presented many obstacles in 2011. The Dallas NDTA team rose to the occasion with communication, hard work, and dedication to an organization with nothing less than a winning spirit. Transportation professionals create and overcome regardless of uncooperative weather and a facility recovering from floods. A special thanks to these individuals that continue to exhibit the true sprit of a logistician year after year; Stephen Bullard, Donna Qualls, Sara France, Jason Spencer, Kristin Burt, Alan French, Patricia Scott, Mary Giles and George Carpenter, who continue to work year after year.
This year promises to be full of excitement and learning for our NDTA Chapter. We are pleased to announce new format of luncheon meetings. To start the year off with a positive coaching work shop series of Life Coaching “Work Life and Balance” RSVP to hold your place January 19 and Feb 16; 11:00-12:00 in the Skyline Club. The luncheon schedule is an opportunity for the Dallas NDTA Chapter to revitalize and what better way of doing so than with the professional life coach direction of Robert D. Dubek, Colonel, USAF (ret)who is a certified life coach.
I encourage you to spread the news within your organization, watch our website and mark your calendar for January 19 and February 16.
Thank you for all the support that you give freely to make our Chapter among the best. Let’s start 2012 out right!
Sincerely,
Sandra McKinzie
